Časopis za kritiko znanosti

Magazine content description

Journal for the Critique of Science, Imagination, and New Anthropology is an established academic journal of social sciences and the humanities that was started in the times of student protests in the beginning of the 1970s by a group of radical students and young intellectuals.

Their goal was to create a theoretical forum that would give space to the science that forms itself by reflecting on the most topical social movements. The journal is devoted to critical discussion of radical approaches and theories of social movements and alternative political practices, socio-ecological questions, cultural studies and gender studies, scientific and technological changes, media and communications theories, risk technologies, socio-pedagogical topics, marginality, addiction, handicaps, etc. that were discussed by Slovenian and foreign authors from various fields. Developing transdisciplinarity when examining various social phenomena is the pillar of our editorial policy.

Editorial board and authors use and reflect on classical as well as contemporary theoretical concepts, translate texts, write reviews, and react in the public sphere.
